Asbestos Worker (Initial Course)
Course Description:
This four-day accredited course, available in both English and Spanish prepares students to become licensed asbestos abatement workers and meets or exceeds EPS’s AHERA requirements and OSHA standards for Class I and Class II Operations. The EPA Model Curriculum for Training Asbestos Workers is used. Worker Refresher training is also available.

Asbestos Supervisor (Initial Course)
Course description:
This 5-day accredited course includes in-depth study and application of those topics provided in the Asbestos Worker Course, plus and additional 8 hours of knowledge required by licensed supervisors and “competent persons” including (also available in the refresher course)

Asbestos Inspector / Management Planner (Refresher Course)
Course description:
This eight-hour course provides refresher certification for both the Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Management Planner course (four hours each).

Asbestos Inspector (Initial Course)
Course description:
This three-day accredited course uses the EPA curriculum, Inspecting Buildings for Asbestos.
What You Will Learn:
- Background, Characteristics and Health Effects of Asbestos
- Understanding Building Systems
- Functions, Qualifications and Role of the Inspector
- Inspecting for Friable and Nonfriable ACBM
- Bulk Sampling
- Field trip in which inspections, hazard assessment and sampling techniques are applied under the guidance of experienced, licensed inspectors
Asbestos Project Designer (Initial Course)
Course description:
This three-day accredited course involves instruction in the development of asbestos abatement specifications and designs. Also available in the refresher course.

Asbestos Management Planner (Initial Course)
Course description:
This two-day accredited course is required in conjunction with an Asbestos Inspector Course for accreditation as an Asbestos Management Planner. The student is taught how to utilize the inspection report to determine response actions and set priorities for abatement.

Lead Worker (Initial Course)
Course description:
This two-day course provides lead abatement workers with comprehensive training in lead abatement. The course meets the training requirements for lead workers included in the EPA Requirements for Lead-Based Paint Activities in 40 CFR 745 Subpart L. Individuals who attend the lead worker training become eligible for state certification. Also available in the refresher course.
Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor (Refresher Course)
Course description:
This course offers certification for individuals seeking re-accreditation as both a certified Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor. The 8-hour course allows participants to complete EPA and State curriculum for a combined cost that is significantly less than that of the two courses individually.

Course description:
This 8-hour refresher course is EPA and State accredited and meets requirements of the Final rule concerning lead training for Project designers.

Lead Risk Assessor (Initial Course)
Course description:
This two-day course will train those individuals who will be conducting risk assessments in public and private housing, large apartment complexes and childcare facilities using the EPA’s model risk-assessment curriculum. This risk assessment course will focus on issues related to detecting lead hazards in paint, dust and soil; and integrating interim controls of lead hazards into the owner’s or landlord’s ongoing management and maintenance operations. Individuals completing this course will also be able to recommend various abatement and interim control options. This course includes several class workshops.
